Using Existing Infrastructure

SunDiesel^® can be blended with conventional diesel fuel or used on its own. The company prefers the blending option, as combustion in engines is much improved even if just a 10-20% amount of SunDiesel^® is added. This would lead to a greater reduction in exhaust emissions in the transport sector overall.

With this option, there is no need to set up a separate marketing distribution system for SunDiesel^®. Significant amounts of SunDiesel^® will already be available from 2007 onwards, once the Beta Plant, the world’s first industrial-scale BTL plant, has been completed.
